Andrew your stories and writing's remind me of a old gentelman I once had in my life he would tell me stories of proabition and the good old days when men were men and your hand shake was your bond. he would start ever story with the only reason I can tell you this is because they are all dead. Please do what he didn't put them in a book form at some point in your life for the world to enjoy and so you can make a shit load of money!!!!! Have one. I believe the public can view it, the link is located at the very bottom of the page. Fwiw, I just surpassed 80K hits and some 150K page views. Peanuts in the grand scheme of the internet. But, as I've said before, I don't run any ads or anything so it really doesn't matter how many people visit. If only one person gets enjoyment from one story, I think it was worth my time to write it.

I hate that magazine. The writing in it is as irrelevant as it is uninteresting. Nothing against the writers there. I'm sure they spend a lot of time on their entries and take pride in them. Besides, deadlines can be a real bitch and are very detrimental to quality art in any medium I think. As any regular reader of mine knows, I only post shit when I have something done, not when somebody else tells me it's supposed to be done. I mean really, how many shitty-ass records have been made due to time and or budget restraints imposed by producers/record labels? Too many to name...I'm sure as fuck not going to be a slave to an editor who not only doesn't appreciate me, but who pays me dick to begin with anyway. Furthermore, I'm not interested in the least in becoming a spokesman for cabbie concerns. Somebody else can take that flag and run with it.

Lastly X cabbie...this is not your first attempt to talk me out of the cab business altogether. I'm sure your heart is in the right place but believe me when I say that if I wanted to be doing something else, I already would. As it's so eloquently put under my profile..."dont worry about me, I'm fine."

I stand corrected, your first few posts were great also, you just hadn't found spellcheck yet. I can't spell worth a shit myself, but for some reason can spot a misspelled word a mile away. When I read one of your really good posts I will send the link to a few friends and family members. I'm sure others have done the same. Have you ever thought of getting a hit meter? or would you rather not know how many people are reading you? Have you approached Trip Sheet, to write for them? You probably could care less. Many of the people I met while driving in vegas have moved on (including me) but I know many have stayed even though they know it is near slave labor. I guess for some, the known evil is more comfortable than the unkown. And the cab company's in Vegas will have no problems as long as TA doesn't enforce the requirement for drivers to speak and write in English. If you drive in Vegas for 5 years, you will pretty much have seen everything. Higher education might be a good idea to pursue while you are having all that fun out there. Just a thought!
